| Me & My 3 As Destiny gets bigger we don't want to lose the opportunity to personally support, mentor and relate with you as an individual. So we've created Me and My 3 as a discipleship structure for every young person who wants to grow in their relationship with God. You and two friends (your '3') will share a mentor who will meet up with you regularly as a 3 or individually to read the bible, to pray, to be real and to be inspired. |

Sixth Form Social
It is a well known fact that Sunday is the worst telly night of the week. It’s Antiques Roadshow or Songs of Praise. But fear not, college students. If you’re of sixth form age and want a fun, relaxed evening with great food, great music and, most importantly, great people, then Sixth Form Social is the place for you. It’s a little bit different every time: live bands and pub quizzes are regular occurrences, but Sixth Form Social is always a brilliant way to relax with friends and forget about coursework for a night.
Sorry Fiona Bruce, but our Sundays are taken.
Destiny happens because of a number of great people who regularly volunteer to serve on one of our fantastic teams. Our hope is that everyone who comes to Destiny will find a place where they can serve on a regular basis. As well as being vital to making Destiny great each week, serving is a great way to get connected and make new friends. Have a look and see which team you could get involved in.

The set up team are always behind the scenes in preparing for Destiny. Being on this team includes moving furniture, setting up tables and stands, having a creative input into how the room looks and general preparation for the big night.

The tech team set up all the equipment for the videos, music and lighting, and are also involved in the operation of these things throughout the night. Being on this team could see you doing anything from simply putting content on the projector screens to mixing sounds. Join up and we will teach you everything you need to know.

We are seeing young people respond to the gospel each week which is incredible. On this team you have the privilege of praying with those who have responded and supporting them in their initial steps as a Christian.

With new people coming through our doors every week, we need people to make them feel at home. If you like talking to people, this is definitely for you. This involves being on our information desk, hosting speakers and being on the look out for visitors.

Destiny may have finished, but there is still work to do! Setting down well is just as important as setting up well. If you don't have to rush off after Destiny this is a job for you.

Our brilliant worship team always need more people to be involved. If you have a heart to lead people into God's presence and can play an instrument or sing, we would love to audition you.

This team is often the first point of contact for a visiting young person and we want to provide them with excellent service. Serving on this team includes serving refreshments (with a smile!), setting up and setting down afterwards.

Destiny is the youth ministry of the Christian Centre, Nottingham. The Christian Centre is a large and lively church, with around 1,400 people of all ages and backgrounds regularly attending. Three main services are held on Sundays at 9am, 11.15am and 6.30pm. The Destiny Team actively encourage those attending Destiny to get plugged into a church where they can get involved, receive great teaching and grow. All are welcome at the Christian Centre and you can find out more on their website.
